New cranberry seed oil from Seatons
Seatons Cranberry Seed Oil (INCI name – Vaccinium Macrocarpon Seed Oil), originates from the Cranberry fields of New England, USA.
For years the health benefits of drinking Cranberry juice have been well known but more recently the benefits of the cold pressed oil extracted from the seeds have become clear.
Cranberries are native to North America, in particular the East Coast where in modern times the brilliant red fields beautifully complement the famous autumnal foliage of New England. Cranberries are often harvested uniquely by flooding the fields, loosening the fruit and gathering the floating crop. After separating the seeds they are crushed to expel the rich oil within.
Cranberries have connotations of health, ripeness, fresh air, harvest time and family occasions.
Seatons Cranberry Seed Oil contains a near one-to-one balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids and a healthy mixture of antioxidants including very high levels of tocotrienols and tocopherols.
At total of 70% essential fatty acids make Seatons Cranberry Seed Oil an excellent emollient, ideal for use in lip, skin, and baby care applications.
